Erinus alpinus - Fairy Foxglove

This plant likes to grow on old walls, or stony places in the sun. It has an untidy rosette with hairy, sprawling stems with loose clusters of 5-petalled pink-purplish, sometimes white, flowers.

It seems to be commoner in the west of the vice-county and is much commoner in vc76 Renfrewshire.
