Chaerophyllum temulum - Rough Chervil
Chaerophyllum temulum - Rough Chervil.
This is an infrequent roadside flower with a stem which is roughly hairy and thin, pale-green leaves with obtuse lobes. These obtuse lobes differentiates it from the less common Chaerophyllum aureum which has acute lobes.
Chaerophyllum temulum has no hairs on the edge of the petals unlike the less common Chaerophyllum hirsutum which has hairs on the edge of the petals, a softly hairy stem and pink flowers.
